About Lesley DeHaan
I have concert tickets in my wallet all the time, wrapped around each other, waiting to get pulled out and used. I have an app keeping track of upcoming concerts, favourite venues and best seating/standing options. I have it all figured out and yet, I still get butterflies in my stomach as the event approaches.
Gawd, I love concerts!
I love the music, the lights, the rock star power of the performers before me. It's all a giddy swirl of excitement, and lights, and the push and roar of fans that catches me up and takes me to another world that I've been looking forward to the whole day - if not week - before.
So, yeah, these pictures come from that love and passion.
But know that I am well aware of the passion fans around me as well, my camera does not go above my head, but rather it stays in front of me, the light of the screen blocked by my body. The screen is also dimmed by gels covering it and making it look all but off to those around me.
